Enviro Links Design is a comprehensive eco resort planning
service to assist with the design and approvals required for a
modern eco resort. Our expertise is particularly valuable in
sensitive environmental settings. This is backed by 50 + projects
experience in coastal or alpine National Parks undertaking
environmental assessments and environmental management / landscape
designs. Our desire is to provide sensitive integration into the
landscape of large 100 + cabin developments or resorts down to
premium boutique scale secluded retreats.

Myall Shores Eco Resort, Myall Lakes National Park
Enviro Links Design was head consultant for environmental
planning, resort masterplanning and landscape design tasks of an
established eco-retreat 1.25 hours north of Newcastle including:
1998 New Banksia cabins Review of Environmental Factors (R.E.F.)
2001 Eco Tourism Resort Master Plan and associated R.E.F.
2004 Revised Eco Resort Master Plan and R.E.F. associated
with development of 68 new cabins and 47 relocated van / campsites,
new conference room and infrastructure. Over 90% of the works were operational in 2005. Also :
- Detail design of new development cabin siting, paths, roads, service tanks and landscape, plus foreshore revegetation. The design focus was to integrate with the existing vegetation, provide functional layouts offering selected privacy balanced with appealing vistas for a quality Eco Resort setting.
- Environmental Management Plan (EMP)
- Management and Maintenance Works Plan (MMWP)
- EcoMax wastewater system R.E.F.
- Weed Management Plan
All design and reports were approved by the NSW Department of
Environment and Conservation (National Parks and Wildlife Service)
and also relevant studies by the Federal Department of Conservation
and Heritage. (Similar services provided to the Murramarang Eco
Resort 2005 upgrading on the NSW South Coast).
Woodridge at Thredbo Stage 1, Kosciuszko National Park
Landscape design / environmental planning for 30 ski lodges in
duplex condominiums sensitively integrated into the alpine landscape
of a prior disturbed site. High tree retention and low key but
effective rock / log vehicle controls were project features.
2006 and 2007 projects include :
Hawkesbury River Tourist Park Master Plan
Site planning for the upgrading of an existing degraded tourist
park focused on the waterskiing community. Siting of 100 premium
quality eco-villas each with their own onsite boat garage, plus
supplementary camping and van sites and park communal facilities.
Road design to allow efficient boat trailer circulation.
Shellharbour Beachside Tourist Park Master Plan
Site planning for the upgrading of an existing ocean front
tourist park by incorporating some additional eco-villas and
improving park communal facilities.
